Winch Family - Cecil Erwin Winch - 1920 Census - page 10

This is the 1920 Mankato, Blue Earth, Minnesota census that shows Cecil as a boarder in the Lawrence Masters household.

Cecil is listed as a Boarder, who is male, white, single and 23 years old. He has already been in the service during WW2. He can speak, read and write English. He was born in Minnesota, and knows that his parents were born in Minnesota. It says that he is not employed.

I do not know how Cecil came into this household/. Maybe he was looking for work and Lawrence took him in. Maybe they knew each other earlier in the 20th century.

I do know that in a year or two Lawrence will be serving time in St. Cloud Penitentiary, for non support of his family.
