Mearl Weit page, Sr., 59, of 4638 East Madison Avenue, as sales supervisor for a local bakery company, died late yesterday after suffering a heart attack at Belmont and Cedar Avenue.

He was dead on arrival in the Fresno County General Hospital a few minutes later.
The officers reported Page's widow, Elizabeth, told them her husband had been under treatment for heart disease.
Page was born in Effing[h]am, Kan. He came to Fresno when he was a child. Later he lived in San Francisco and [S]an Jose and in 1942 [r]eturned to Fresno.
He was a member of Fresno Masonic Lodge No. 247.

"Crossing the Bar"
Sunset and evening star,
And one clear call for me,
And may there be no moaning of the bar
When I put out to sea.
But such a tide as moving seems asleep,
Too full for sound and foam,
When that which drew from out the
boundless deep
Turns again home.
Twilight and evening bell,
And after that the dark!
And may there be no sadness of farewell
When I embark.
For tho' from out our bourne of time and
place
The flood may bear me far,
I hope to see my Pilot face to face
When I have crossed the bar.

The Lord's Prayer
Matthew 6: 9-13
Our Father which art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done
on earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil:
For thine is the Kingdom,
and the Power, and the Glory,

Psalm 23
The LORD is my sheperd; I shall not want. He
Makes me lie down in green pastures. He
leads me beside still waters. He restores my
soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for
His name's sake. Even though I walk through
the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and
your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a ta-
ble before me in the presence of my enemies;
you annoint my head with oil; my cup over-flows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow
me all the days of my life, and I shal dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

Lola May Page was born the youngest of five children on January 14, 1927 in Fresno, California to parents Emilly and Cecil Winch. Lola is the descendant of grandparents who came to the United States on a boat from Sweden. [Omitted living persons] Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were Lola's great joy. Lola graduated from Fresno High School. She went to work for a couple newspapers in their editorial offices where Lola would develop a great love for writing. Receiving letters in the mail from "Grammy," as she was called by her grandchildren, was always an exciting experience for her grandchildren. Lola also worked at Arthur's Toy Store in Fresno before she retired. Her grandchildren thought they cound have any toy they wanted because Grammy worked at a toy store. Lola was known for her love of the 3Gs- golf, gardening, and grandchildren. There were few people who could hit a golf ball straighter, keep their grass greener, or love her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren greater that Grammy.

"Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. And you know the way to where I am going." John 14 : 1-4
