Lawrence Masters Died.
Lawrence Masters died at the county home yesterday, at the age of about 35 years. He leaves a wife and one small child.
This is the young man who was discovered in a destitute condition at the fair ground during the county fair this fall. He had secured a concession at the ground, but was taken sick and was unable to work. Investigation revealed the fact that he and his wife were without funds and they were taken to the county home. Masters claims Winnebago, Minn., as his home and the supervisors of Adams county notified the authorities at Winnebago of conditions, and that the Minnesota county would be expected to bear the expense of caring for the family. Master grew steadily worse and died yesterday. His malady was tuberculosis.

Lawrence Masters, the young man taken to the county farm from the fair ground last week, suffering with an acute case of tuberculosis, is still very low and unable to be moved to his home state of Minnesota. The board of supervisors met Saturday to discuss his case but no action was taken other then that the Minnesota authorities were notified that they would be expected to bear the expenses in the case.

NOW THEREFORE, On motion of Harry A. Johnson, esq., attorney for the plaintiff herein, it is hereby ORDERED ADJUDGED AND DECREED That the plaintiff have judgment and decree of the Court granting said plaintiff an absolute divorce from said defendant, and completely dissolving and terminating the marriage relation now existing between her and the said defendant.
It is further Ordered, Adjudged and Decreed that the plaintiff have the care, custody and control of the minor children of the parties above named.

III.
That there has been born as issue of said marriage three
children, to-wit: Grover Masters, born June 3, 1916; Debarh
Masters, born January 31, 1918; and Doris Masters, born
November 28, 1920 [all now] living with the plaintiff.
IV.
That on the 30th day of November 1921, the defendant herein
was duly convicted of the crime of deserting his minor children
under the age of sixteen years, by a jury in the said County of Blue
Earth, and was later sentenced to the Minnesota State Reformatory
at St. Cloud, in the state of Minnesota, for a period of not
exceeding five years, as punishment of said crime, and was
committed to said institution on the 13th day of December, 1921.
V.
That the plaintiff is a fit and proper person and entitled to the
care, custody and control of the minor children of the parties.
AS CONCLUSIONS OF LAW
It is found:
I.
That the plaintiff is entitled to a judgment and decree of
the Court granting said plaintiff an absolute divorce from
said defendant, and completely dissolving and terminating the
marriage relation now existing between her and the said defendant.
II.
That the plaintiff is entitled to the care, custody and control
of the minor children of the parties above named.
Let judgement be entered accordingly.

JUDGEMENT
The above entitled action being regularly on the
June 1925 term of said District Court, came on to be heard in its
order before the Court without a jury on the 7th day of [S]eptember,
1925, at ten o'clock A.M.
Harry A. Johnson appeared as attorney for and on behalf of
the plaintiff, and there was no appearance for the defendant. [A]nd
it appearing to the Court that the Summons and Complaint in said
action were personally served upon the defendant on [S]eptember
20, 1924, and that said defendant has not appeared in any manner
in said action, nor served nor filed any answer therein, and the
Court havaing heard and duly considered the evidence offered on
behalf of the plaintiff, the Court makes the following
FINDINGS OF FACT.
I.
That the plaintiff and defendant are husband and wife, and
were married on the 7th day of August, 1915, at the City of
Dennison, State of Iowa.
II.
That the plaintiff is now twenty-eight years of age and the
defendent is thirty-one years of age, and the plaintiff is now and
for several years last part has been a resident

I, John Masters of the Town of Sterling in the County of Blue Earth, State of Minnesota being mindful of the uncertainties of human life and being of sound mind and memory do make publish and declare this my last will and testament in manner and form following, towit:
1st I direct that all my real estate and personal property be sold and the proceeds of such sale to be distributed as follows, that is to say:
1st all my just debts and funeral expenses shall be paid.
2nd I give, devise and bequeath to my daughter Julia V. Hansing the sum of one hundred dollars.
3rd I give devise and bequeath to Ellen A. Barnard my daughter the sum of one hundred dollars.

Mearl Weit page, Sr., 59, of 4638 East Madison Avenue, as sales supervisor for a local bakery company, died late yesterday after suffering a heart attack at Belmont and Cedar Avenue.
The police reported Page telephoned them to report another motorist kicked his car, damaging a door, in a dispute. Patrolmen Edward Haddad and J L. Packard said Page collapsed shortly after they arrived at the scene.
He was dead on arrival in the Fresno County General Hospital a few minutes later.
The officers reported Page's widow, Elizabeth, told them her husband had been under treatment for heart disease.
Page was born in Effing[h]am, Kan. He came to Fresno when he was a child. Later he lived in San Francisco and [S]an Jose and in 1942 [r]eturned to Fresno.
He was a member of Fresno Masonic Lodge No. 247.
Sons Survive
In addition to his widow [h]e is survived by two sons, Mearl W., Jr., and Fred Earl [o]f Fresno; two brothers, Fred [o]f Porterville, Tulare County, [a]nd Earl of Stockton, San [J]oaquin County, and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be [con]ducted by Lodge No. 247 [at] the Tinkler Mission Chapel, 10AM tomorrow. Burial [w]ill be in the Belmonst Me[m]orial Park.

Page Family - Fred Page - Page 5
Fred graduated early from Fresno High School in order to enlist in the Navy during WWII. Fred was 17 and had to have his father sign a waiver for him to enlist. After WWII Fred graduated from Fresno State and went to work at PG&E then to Rainbo Bread Company. Through the years he worked very hard and retired as the General Manager of Rainbo Bread Company in Sacramento, California. After retiring he pursued his love of golf at Northridge Country Club and Fort Washington Country Club. He also loved to travel with his family taking them on trips to Hawaii, Lake Tahoe, Bass Lake, San Diego, and Pismo Beach where many wonderful memories were made. After moving to Fresno, Fred married Inge Miller Page in Hawaii surrounded by family.
Few people could love, appreciate, and provide for their family better than Grandpa.
