Winch family - Introduction - page 1


This is what we have found on the family name of Winch and Allied Families in the United States of America.

The Winch family came to the North American continent between 1630 and 1640.


At least one member of the family fought in the Revolutionary War.


At least one member of the family fought in World War 2.


At least 2 members served in World War 2.


2 step cousins served in the Civil War, 1 who died at the battle of Shiloh.


2 ancestors were born in Canada - one in the province of Ontario and one in Quebec.
