Winch Family - Myron Erwin Winch - page 1

This is a picture of my dad, Myron Erwin Winch. He was born 27 February 1923, in St. Paul Minnesota. I often wondered why Emily would have traveled from Mankato Minnesota to St. Paul for his birth.

Dad, his brother Grover, and his sisters Deborah [Caroline] and Doris  [Marie] lived in Mankato until the family moved to Fresno California in October 1925.

The family stayed intact until March 1936 when Emily and Cecil divorced.

When Myron was in one of the earlier grades of elementary school, his entire grade was exposed to Diphtheria. Everyone was quarantined for the entire year.
