Shanghai, China

September 30th, 1942

I Nicolai Buergin, XXX), a duly authorised member of the Auxiliary Staff, of the Swiss Consulate General in Shanghai in charge of the Interests of the United States of America in occupied China, do hereby certify that on the thirtieth day of September A.D. 1942, at Community Church, in the city of Shanghai, China William Augustus Carrell, a CITIZEN of U.S.A., aged 28 years, born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, and now residing in Shanghai, China, and Glady's Doreen Bond, a SUBJECT of Great Britan, aged 31 years, born in Calclutta, India, and now residing in Shanghai, China were united in marriage in my presence at the Community Church in Shanghai, China, this Thirtieth day of September, A.D. 1942.
