I received these pictures from Ancestry.com. Pam Grotenhuis has the originals in her possession.
I believe that these pictures were taken prior to when Cecil was going to be sent overseas to Europe, as part of the US contingent of troops.
Pam wrote me back saying: "I remember these pictures now. I actually have the physical pictures that I scanned. When I took over my mother's ancestry work a few years ago, she had a suitcase full of old photos. Many of them were not labeled and it took me quite some time to figure out who was who. Unfortunately, I still have a pile that I can't identify. I really felt an obligation to identify them, but it's too hard when I don't have any other information to go by. Cecil's father Orville was my great grandfather George's brother."
