The article starts second paragraph under "KIRON ITEMS":

   Oscar Tellgren and family, of Denison autoed to Kiron Friday to attend the funeral of John Jarl.

The sixth paragraph starts:
   On last Wednesday morning John Theodore Jarl passed away at the family home five miles east of Kiron after a three days illness. His death came unexpectedly, both to his parents and others. While quite a sick boy, this sickness was not considered so serious. Being ill with pneumonia, leakage of the heart set in, which very quickly ended his life. The death was a keen blow to the family and his many friends, of whom many had never learned of his illness. The funeral took place from the home on Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by Reb. H. E. Sundberg, pastor of the Free church at Kiron. A large number of his friends and neighbors of the family gathered to pay their last tribute to the young lad who had passed out from their midst. The short and most impressive service will long be remembered by those present. After the service the procession formed and the remains were taken to the Kiron cemetery, where burial was made. John Theodore was the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Albin Jarl and was born in Stockholm township of Sept. 29, 1904, and at his death had attained the age of 13 years, 5 months, and 27 days. John was a quiet, unassuming young boy and had attached himself not alone with those in his home but with all his schoolmates. He leaves his sorrowing parents, one brother and five sisters and other relatives and friends to mourn and miss him. His place is vacant in the home, in the circle of his friends and in the Mission Sunday school at Boyer, of which John was an esteemed member. The sympathy of the entire locally goes out to the stricken family.
